Dream it Made — Acceptable Content Policy

Dream it Made is operated by Dream It Made Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 17430260, with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.

This Policy applies to Customer Content, including text, prompts, photographs, images, artwork and other material submitted to or created through Dream it Made. It forms part of our Customer Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms used in this Policy have the meanings given in those Terms.

1. Your responsibility

Only submit content that you are lawfully and appropriately entitled to use. You must have any permission reasonably needed from:

  • a copyright, trade mark or other rights holder;
  • the photographer or creator;
  • an identifiable adult whose privacy or image rights may be affected; and
  • a parent or guardian where a child is identifiable or involved.

AI-generation Prompts are checked by an automated moderation process before an image is generated. Images uploaded directly by customers are not automatically moderated by Dream it Made before an Order is placed. After an Order has been placed and before it is released to production, Dream it Made conducts a manual visual review and may reject the Customer Content, request a revision or cancel the affected Order under this Policy. Submitting Customer Content does not transfer ownership or responsibility, clear third-party rights or guarantee that the content is lawful in every context.

2. Content we prohibit

Do not submit content that:

  • is illegal, encourages crime or gives practical instructions for serious wrongdoing;
  • sexually exploits or endangers a child, sexualises a minor or contains child sexual abuse material;
  • threatens, harasses, stalks, intimidates or facilitates violence against a person;
  • promotes terrorism, violent extremism or a prohibited organisation;
  • promotes hatred or dehumanises a person or protected group;
  • is sexually explicit or pornographic, depicts non-consensual intimate material or facilitates sexual exploitation;
  • unlawfully exposes personal, private, medical, financial, location or security information;
  • impersonates, defames or fraudulently misrepresents a person or organisation;
  • infringes copyright, trade mark, design, privacy, publicity or other rights;
  • uses another person’s photograph, a child’s image or confidential material without appropriate authority;
  • contains malware, malicious code, scams, counterfeit documents or deceptive credentials;
  • is intended to evade moderation or disguise prohibited material; or
  • creates a material product-safety, legal or reputational risk that a responsible personalised-goods seller should not accept.

This includes prohibited material concealed in backgrounds, small print, layers, QR codes, stylised spellings or other obfuscation.

3. Brands, characters, public figures and artistic styles

Do not assume that online availability or AI generation makes an image free to use. Logos, characters, photographs, celebrity/public-figure likenesses and recognisable protected works can require permission.

A general creative influence is not automatically unlawful, but prompts or uploads intended to reproduce a living artist’s distinctive work, pass off an item as official merchandise or copy protected expression may be rejected. We do not give intellectual-property clearance advice.

4. Moderation and review

AI image-generation prompts are checked by an automated moderation process. This reduces risk but cannot guarantee detection of every issue.

Images uploaded directly by customers are not automatically moderated by Dream it Made before an Order is placed. After an Order has been placed and before it is released to production, Dream it Made conducts a manual visual review and may reject the Customer Content, request a revision or cancel the affected Order under this Policy. Our Technology Providers, Print Providers or Payment Providers may also apply their own lawful checks.

We may ask for information showing authority to use content. We are not obliged to conduct a complete legal investigation or determine a disputed rights claim before pausing production.

5. What happens if content causes concern

For a remediable, low-risk issue, we may invite one revised submission within seven days. The new design must receive a fresh preview and approval.

We may reject or cancel without offering revision where content is serious, clearly illegal, exploitative, threatening, fraudulent, manifestly infringing, unsafe, deliberately concealed or likely to expose a person to harm. If an accepted order is cancelled, we will initiate the refund for the affected item within five working days unless the law permits or requires a different step.

We may restrict further use of the service and preserve the minimum evidence reasonably required to investigate an incident, protect a person, defend a claim or comply with law. We may report or disclose content to law enforcement, safeguarding bodies, regulators, providers or affected rights holders where legally required or reasonably necessary and lawful.

6. Rights complaints

Send a copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights complaint to info@dreamitmade.com. Include:

  • your name and contact details;
  • the right or protected material concerned;
  • the affected product/order/page or design reference;
  • why you believe use is unauthorised; and
  • any authority or evidence reasonably available.

We may pause production or access, preserve limited evidence and seek information from the customer or providers while assessing the report. Knowingly false or abusive notices may themselves breach this Policy or the law. A warning about abuse does not discourage a good-faith report.

7. Our limited content licence

The limited licence you give Dream it Made permits us to allow our Technology Providers and Print Providers to use Customer Content only as needed to operate the service, create Preview Images and Production Images, perform moderation, manufacture and deliver the Order, provide support and process reprints or refunds, and keep legitimate records. It does not authorise independent advertising, social-media, portfolio, dataset or model-training use. Any marketing display by Dream it Made requires separate, specific permission.

8. Fair allocation of risk

You confirm that you have reasonable grounds to submit the content and will cooperate with a genuine complaint. You are not required to indemnify us without limit and are not responsible for loss caused by our own breach, negligence, alteration or manufacturing error.
